Pause listing keeps the record and stops presenting it as a current listing. Withdraw offer takes back a proposal in a thread. Closing your account is separate and is not how you unpublish one listing. Pause does not cancel a deal that already exists.
Where to go
Pause listing is on the listing you own. Withdraw offer is on the offer you sent. Close my account is in Settings and is not how you unpublish one listing.
What to do
- Open the listing you own.
- Choose Pause listing.
- To take back a proposal, open the thread and choose Withdraw offer.
- If you need the listing gone from your account entirely, use the remove or archive control that listing shows, and say so in any open thread.
What you should see
The posting button is Publish listing. After that, Pause listing is on the listing you own. A type includes Service, Product, Rental, and Free item, among the choices the form shows. Free item means a giveaway, not unpaid labor.
What this does not mean
- Pause is not a refund tool. Payments are not open.
- Withdrawing an offer does not erase messages already sent.
- The other person might still have seen the old version. Tell them in the thread.
