Change an accepted deal only through the control the deal or the workspace arrangement shows. A workspace arrangement can be amended. The accepted terms stay in force until everyone accepts the new ones. A message that names a new price does not replace the record.
Where to go
A workspace arrangement is amended from the workspace’s Arrangements page. The accepted terms stay in force until everyone accepts the new ones. A chat price does not amend the record.
What to do
- Open the deal or the workspace arrangement.
- Use the amend control when it is shown, and wait for acceptance.
- If there is no amend control, do not invent a side payment. Use Contact and keep the work inside a new offer.
- Read the new version in full before you accept it.
What you should see
The offer status reads Open, Proposed, Countered, Accepted, Declined, Expired, or Withdrawn. Under it, the line is Version, round, of the maximum. Open, Countered, and Accepted lose their actions after the deadline and show as Expired. The other person gets Accept offer, Counter offer, and Decline. You get Withdraw offer on an offer you sent. After acceptance, the buyer may see Confirm and continue to payment and the seller may see Confirm the deal. Deal confirmed and the line The agreement has been created mean the deal record exists. They do not pay a bank. Card payments are not open.
What this does not mean
- You cannot add a price to free help by amending it into paid work.
- A new price does not move money while payments are off.
- One person cannot amend the record alone.
