You choose by accepting an offer you have read. Search cannot show that a person is free at a given hour. The listing and the offer’s schedule are the records to read. Availability on a profile, when it is shown, is a status such as Available or Busy. It is not a booking.
Where to go
Profile Availability in Settings is Available, Busy, Away, or On vacation. That status is not a booking. The time that matters is the schedule on the offer.
What to do
- Open the offer in Messages.
- Read the schedule, scope, price, and Cancellation.
- Accept only with the control on that offer. A chat “yes” is not the acceptance record.
- If the offer has no schedule, ask for a revised offer rather than assuming a time.
What you should see
Search can be empty. That means nothing published matched. Post request is a different page and does not hire anyone. Budget on that form is optional and is not a free-help switch.
What this does not mean
- Available on a profile does not reserve that person.
- Neighbor cannot confirm availability.
- Accepting an offer is still not a card payment. Payments are not open.
