Find help for your project asks what you need, the details, a category, and whether the work is Near me or Remote. Near me also asks where and a radius. Budget is optional. Post request publishes the request for other people to read. It does not assign anyone.
Where to go
Find help for your project is /request/new and requires you to be signed in. The fields are What do you need?, Details, a category, Where? (Near me or Remote), and an optional Budget. The button is Post request.
What to do
- Sign in and open Find help for your project.
- Fill in What do you need? and Details. Choose a category.
- For local work, set Where? to Near me and complete Where do you need it?
- Leave Budget empty if you want proposals without stating a range. Choose Post request.
- If the request stays in review, the done screen says so. Providers may not see it yet.
What you should see
Search can be empty. That means nothing published matched. Post request is a different page and does not hire anyone. Budget on that form is optional and is not a free-help switch.
What this does not mean
- Posting does not hire someone.
- Budget is optional. It is not a free-help switch. Free help is a separate arrangement and cannot carry a budget, deposit, or paid counteroffer.
- Private limit is not shown as the public price.
