Compare the listing or the offer you were sent, not the preview alone. Look at scope, price or quote, schedule, cancellation terms, area, and what the person says about qualifications. Reviews and verification badges, when the profile shows them, are separate facts. A badge is one check, not a promise of workmanship.
Where to go
Open each listing, or open Review offer from the request. In Messages, read the offer card rather than the search row.
What to do
- Open each listing or each offer version in full.
- Note the price basis: a fixed amount, an hourly unit, or a quote still to be set.
- Read Cancellation on the offer before you accept.
- Ask in the thread if a term is missing. Do not assume a chat line changed the offer.
What you should see
Search can be empty. That means nothing published matched. Post request is a different page and does not hire anyone. Budget on that form is optional and is not a free-help switch.
What this does not mean
- More reviews do not assign the job to that person.
- A verification badge does not prove a license you cannot see listed.
- Neighbor’s ranking is not a hiring decision.
