A listing is something a person published: a service, an item, a rental, or another type the posting form allows. A request is something you ask for, with a title, details, a place or remote mode, and an optional budget. An offer in a conversation is a proposed deal on that listing or request. The product uses Offer for that proposal.
Where to go
A listing is a page under /offers. A request is a page under /requests. The structured proposal is the offer inside Messages. The product uses the word Offer for that proposal, and Listing for what you publish.
What to do
- Read the listing on its own page before you message.
- Read the request title and details before you choose Send an offer.
- In Messages, read the offer version, the price, the schedule, and Cancellation.
- Accept only the version on the screen. A chat sentence does not replace it.
What you should see
The register screen lists three notes: free to join, nothing is charged until you confirm a deal, and you can look around and message before you decide. Card payments are not open, so confirming a deal today does not charge a card. If documents are unavailable, the form says so.
What this does not mean
- A listing is not an accepted deal.
- A request does not assign a provider.
- Sending an offer does not charge you. The screen says that on the request.
