Say what you will do, where, and what the other person must know first. Name limits: tools you do not bring, hours you do not work, and work you are not qualified to do. Precise text beats a slogan. The public description is not a private note.
Where to go
The public title and description are on the posting form. Private skill notes are not copied into that text for you.
What to do
- Put the work in the listing title and description.
- State the area or that the work is remote.
- Say what is included in the price or that the price is a quote.
- Remove private addresses, gate codes, and documents before you publish.
What you should see
The posting button is Publish listing. After that, Pause listing is on the listing you own. A type includes Service, Product, Rental, and Free item, among the choices the form shows. Free item means a giveaway, not unpaid labor.
What this does not mean
- The description is not an accepted scope until it is on an offer both people accept.
- Skills you save privately are not copied into the public text as a credential.
- A stock phrase does not satisfy a category that requires a qualification.
