Publish listing makes the draft public when the checks pass. After that, open your listing to edit it. Pause listing stops it from being presented as current. Withdraw offer pulls back an offer in a conversation so the other person can no longer accept that version. Editing the listing does not rewrite an offer already sent.
Where to go
Publish listing makes a draft public when the checks pass. Pause listing is on a listing you own. Withdraw offer is on an offer you sent. Editing the listing does not rewrite an offer already sent.
What to do
- Finish the draft and choose Publish listing.
- Open the listing you own to edit the public text.
- Choose Pause listing when you want it out of circulation without deleting the record.
- In a thread, choose Withdraw offer to take back a proposal you sent.
What you should see
The posting button is Publish listing. After that, Pause listing is on the listing you own. A type includes Service, Product, Rental, and Free item, among the choices the form shows. Free item means a giveaway, not unpaid labor.
What this does not mean
- Pause does not cancel a deal already created from an accepted offer.
- A withdrawn offer cannot be accepted. Say so in the thread if someone might still be looking at an old version.
- Publication is not a booking.
