Open the request and read the title, details, place, and budget if one was posted. When you can do the work, use Send an offer on that request. Sending an offer does not charge you and does not assign the job. If the request is free help, the same button sends a zero-price proposal and still assigns no one.
Where to go
Open the request. Send an offer appears when submit proposal is available. On a free-help request, the same button appears when offer help is available, and the proposal is zero price.
What to do
- Open Requests and the request you can do.
- Read the scope before you write.
- Choose Send an offer and describe the work you will actually do.
- Wait for the other person to read that offer. Do not start the job on a chat alone.
What you should see
The posting button is Publish listing. After that, Pause listing is on the listing you own. A type includes Service, Product, Rental, and Free item, among the choices the form shows. Free item means a giveaway, not unpaid labor.
What this does not mean
- A response does not assign the work.
- Free help rejects a budget, a deposit, and a paid counteroffer.
- You must not claim a qualification you do not hold.
