Share only what the job needs. Do not post passwords, verification codes, full payment details, identity-document images, or an unnecessary precise address in a public listing or request. Use the thread for details that should not be public, and even there omit secrets. A profile and a Neighbor suggestion are not proof of identity.
Where to go
Public title, details, and About you are public text. Keep street numbers, gate codes, and documents out of them. Map search uses an approximate area.
What to do
- Keep public titles and details free of street numbers, gate codes, and documents.
- Refuse requests to install unfamiliar remote software or to move money off the product.
- Use Report when someone pressures you for secrets.
- Use Settings to sign out other devices if you think a password was exposed.
What you should see
Safety opens with the emergency notice. Meeting safely lists public places, keeping terms in the product, telling someone you trust, checking profiles, and leaving if something feels wrong. Trusted contacts and check-ins need you to be signed in.
What this does not mean
- Public map areas are approximate. They are not a reason to publish the full address.
- Support does not need your password.
- Another person’s information is not yours to paste into a report beyond what the investigation needs.
