Scope is what will be done. On a free-help reply the field is Confirmed scope and deliverables. On a paid offer it is the description on that version. Materials, timing, and who supplies tools belong in that text if they matter. A title alone is not the scope.
Where to go
On free help the scope field is labeled Confirmed scope and deliverables. On a priced offer the scope is the description on that version. A request title is not the accepted scope.
What to do
- Write the outcome and the boundaries in the offer or the request details.
- Name materials and access if they change the work.
- Read the other person’s scope before you accept.
- Ask for a new version if the scope on the offer is incomplete.
What you should see
The offer status reads Open, Proposed, Countered, Accepted, Declined, Expired, or Withdrawn. Under it, the line is Version, round, of the maximum. Open, Countered, and Accepted lose their actions after the deadline and show as Expired. The other person gets Accept offer, Counter offer, and Decline. You get Withdraw offer on an offer you sent. After acceptance, the buyer may see Confirm and continue to payment and the seller may see Confirm the deal. Deal confirmed and the line The agreement has been created mean the deal record exists. They do not pay a bank. Card payments are not open.
What this does not mean
- Scope in a message is weaker than scope on the offer.
- Photos of the finished work, when a deal asks for them, illustrate completion. They do not expand the scope after acceptance.
- A private ceiling on a request is not the scope.
