An agreement is confirmed when the thread says the agreement has been created and the toast said Deal confirmed. Accept offer is earlier. It records that this version was accepted. The deal itself is created by Confirm the deal, or by Confirm and continue to payment. Open, Proposed, Countered, Declined, Expired, and Withdrawn are not that point. A chat yes is not that point. Card payments are not open, so confirmation does not pay a bank.
Where to go
Accept offer records acceptance. Confirm the deal, or Confirm and continue to payment, is the later control. The toast is Deal confirmed. The thread then says the agreement has been created and links to the deal.
What to do
- Open the conversation and read the offer status and the version line.
- The other person uses Accept offer, Counter offer, or Decline. You use Withdraw offer on an offer you sent.
- After acceptance, use Confirm the deal or Confirm and continue to payment if that button is shown.
- Open the deal from the thread. Cancel this deal, when shown, is on that deal and not on the old offer.
What you should see
The offer status reads Open, Proposed, Countered, Accepted, Declined, Expired, or Withdrawn. Under it, the line is Version, round, of the maximum. Open, Countered, and Accepted lose their actions after the deadline and show as Expired. The other person gets Accept offer, Counter offer, and Decline. You get Withdraw offer on an offer you sent. After acceptance, the buyer may see Confirm and continue to payment and the seller may see Confirm the deal. Deal confirmed and the line The agreement has been created mean the deal record exists. They do not pay a bank. Card payments are not open.
What this does not mean
- Interested is not confirmed.
- Accepted on a zero-price free-help offer still does not assign the work as a booking and does not create a charge.
- A calendar note outside the offer is not the agreement.
