Confirm a time by accepting the offer that contains that schedule, or by the confirmation control on the deal if one is shown after acceptance. A thumbs-up in chat is not the confirmation record. If no schedule is on the offer, there is no appointment to confirm yet.
Where to go
The time is confirmed when that schedule is on an accepted offer and the deal exists. A reply in chat is not the confirmation record.
What to do
- Open the offer and read the start time.
- Accept that version if the time is right.
- Open the deal the thread links when it says a deal was created.
- If you need a different time before acceptance, ask for a new offer version.
What you should see
The inbox can show an empty state, No conversations yet, with Browse listings. A thread menu includes Mute notices, Archive, Block, and I’ll handle this myself. The offer, when there is one, is on that thread.
What this does not mean
- Confirmation is not a card charge.
- Free-help interest does not create an appointment by itself.
- The other person must still accept when the control requires their acceptance.
