Messages lists conversations about listings, requests, and deals. Open a thread to read and reply. Use the thread menu for Mute notices, Archive, Block, and I’ll handle this myself. Report sits on a message. A message does not change the offer version.
Where to go
Messages is /inbox. The subtitle is Conversations about listings, requests and deals. I’ll handle this myself and Hand back to Neighbor are on the thread menu.
What to do
- Open Messages.
- Open the conversation tied to the listing or request.
- Reply in that thread. Keep project details specific.
- Use Report or Block if the person is abusive. Do not publish their private details in a public place.
What you should see
The inbox can show an empty state, No conversations yet, with Browse listings. A thread menu includes Mute notices, Archive, Block, and I’ll handle this myself. The offer, when there is one, is on that thread.
What this does not mean
- A message is not a deal, a booking, or a payment.
- An AI draft in the composer is not sent until you send it, and it is not the accepted terms.
- Mute notices does not delete the thread.
